Our campus will be abuzz next week (June 9-13) as we welcome 188 of our smallest parishioners and guests to join us for Vacation Bible School! Around 147 Youth and Adult Volunteers will serve these little ones and point them to Jesus, our unmovable, unshakable friend forever. He is our True North! Please keep all of our campers and volunteers in your prayers.

Have you seen some of the mini projects around our campus? One of our new additions is St. Francis Diaconate Memorial Garden. It’s located behind the preschool playground on the south side of the Kelly Center and dedicated to our late deacons who served St. Gabriel so faithfully. Like St. Francis of Assisi, they served our church with deep devotion and grace.
We are happy to offer you the opportunity to reserve a memorial brick tile in memory of your loved one(s). You can find the various options and more information at www.stgabriel.org/memorial-garden and further down in this email.
These memorial bricks will be displayed in the Diaconate Memorial Garden and all proceeds go towards our Capital Campaign. We remain ever grateful to those who have continued to serve and support St. Gabriel in so many different ways.

With the celebration of Solemnity of the Pentecost, the Easter Season draws to a close, and the Ordinary Time begins. As a church community, may this celebration spur us on to continue our journey as Missionary Disciples, to grow, encounter, and proclaim Christ boldly.

FATHER'S DAY NOVENA
June 15 to June 23
Please pray for our all our fathers for Father’s Day.
We are once again offering a Novena for fathers (living or deceased) from to June 15 to June 23. In the Diocese of Dallas, it is a common practice to celebrate a Novena of Masses for Father’s Day with multiple intentions. If you would like to participate, please complete the on-line form, or the envelope that can be found in the Narthex. We will have a basket on the altar during the 9-Day Novena from June 15-23rd. RESERVE A MEMORIAL BRICK TILE
Opportunity to Reserve a Brick Tile for the St Francis Diaconate Memorial Garden at St. Gabriel
St. Francis of Assisi embraced a life of humility, choosing service over status. He declined priesthood and accepted ordination as a Deacon only late in life.
In that same spirit, we remember four beloved Deacons who faithfully served our St. Gabriel Parish.
A Prayer Garden in Their Memory
We are creating a special prayer garden to honor their legacy. As part of this tribute, you are invited to purchase an engraved brick tile in memory of a deceased loved one.

Options Available:
- 8x8" Brick Tile – $1000 Customizable with up to two loved ones' names & lifespans
- 4x8" Brick Tile – $500 Customizable with one loved one's name & lifespan
All will be placed around the statue of St. Francis in the new garden.
DIVORCED AND SEPARATED SUPPORT GROUP
It was great having the students on campus this week preparing for Vacation Bible School! This weekend we celebrate the Descent of the Holy Spirit at PENTECOST! It's the birthday of the Church. This is when the Apostles were sent out into the world to spread the GOOD NEWS! A fun way to participate is to where red to Mass. See you this weekend!
